These Terms of Service govern your use of steptone.com.au and your purchase of products from us. StepTone is a brand of 256 GROUP PTY LTD, ABN 15 699 759 352, of Parcel Collect 10335 85866, 705 High St, Thornbury VIC 3071, Australia. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean 256 GROUP PTY LTD trading as StepTone.

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. You agree that the information you give us at checkout is accurate and complete, and that you are authorised to use the payment method you provide.

2. Our products

We try to represent our products accurately, but colours and appearance can vary depending on your screen. Product descriptions and specifications may change without notice, and we may discontinue a product or limit quantities at any time.

3. Orders

When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. Your order is accepted when we confirm it and your payment has been processed. We may decline or cancel an order at our discretion, including where an item is out of stock, where there has been a pricing error, or where we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order we will refund you in full and contact you using the details you provided.

You agree that products are bought for your own personal or household use and not for commercial resale or export.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Prices and promotions can change without notice. The price that applies to your order is the one shown at the time you place it and set out in your order confirmation.

5. Delivery

Delivery timeframes on our site are estimates from our couriers and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays outside our control, such as weather events or courier capacity. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

6. Returns and refunds

Returns, refunds, cancellations and our 30-day money-back guarantee are covered by our Return and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they are not of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

8. Using our products safely

Our products are exercise equipment. Follow the instructions supplied with your product, and speak to a doctor before starting any new exercise programme if you have an existing health condition, an injury, or any concern about whether the activity is suitable for you. Information on our site is general in nature and is not medical advice.

The content on this site, including text, images, video, graphics, logos and the StepTone name, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws. You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You must not copy, reproduce, republish or distribute any of our content without our written permission.

10. Reviews and other content you submit

If you send us reviews, photos, feedback or other content, you give us permission to use, reproduce and display it in connection with our business. You confirm the content is yours to give, that it is accurate, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. We may remove content at our discretion.

Our site may link to or include tools operated by third parties. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, products or practices. Your dealings with them are at your own risk and subject to their terms.

StepTone is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide this store to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our store are made directly with StepTone. By using the store, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you and StepTone, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products and services. You expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with StepTone.

14. Errors

Occasionally our site may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies relating to descriptions, pricing, promotions, delivery times or availability. We may correct these and may change or cancel an affected order, including after you have placed it. If we do, we will refund you in full.

Other than the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law and any express guarantee we give you, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or our products. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
